Here to support your journey
I understand that taking that first step to reach out for support can feel daunting, my aim is to make that step as comfortable as possible. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed with a life event, experiencing difficulties with a relationship, struggling with anxiety and overthinking or just finding managing day to day life a challenge - I will offer you a calm, supportive space.

Working together, we can look to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns or behaviours and develop coping strategies to help you feel better equipped to cope with day to day life.
Enabling you to reconnect with your sense of self and identity, to focus on confidence and establishing boundaries.

Give yourself the opportunity to view life from a new perspective and feel empowered to steer life in the direction of your choosing.
Hi, I'm Kellyanne
Finding the right Counsellor to support you is important. I encourage all clients to speak with as many as possible until they find someone they feel comfortable opening up to - no one person will work for everyone.

I've spent my career working in various areas of healthcare, both within the NHS and privately supporting women in gynaecology, early pregnancy and maternity departments coping with new diagnosis, loss, anxiety, depression, post surgery complications and recovery. Alongside family planning, IVF journeys and returning to work.
The majority of my work today is supporting women coping with the ups and downs of life - over coming relationship breakdowns, divorce and separation, starting a new chapter in their lives, adjusting to change and workplace stresses.
Managing overwhelm, overthinking, fear, anxieties, sadness, disappointment, heartbreak or maybe there are so many emotions to juggle you can’t identify a single one – having a calm and welcoming space to explore and better understand your responses can be beneficial to your all round wellbeing.
But ultimately I am just a person, a woman, one that has experienced grief, joy, sadness, confusion, heartbreak and many more emotions on this journey through life – finding a counsellor who you feel comfortable with is such an important part in deciding who to work with."

What to expect
Each individual I work with is unique, no single approach suits all people or issues. I use both person-centred and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) approaches.

Online and telephone counselling
Like many counsellors, I moved to online and telephone sessions during the pandemic. Although initially unfamiliar, most clients found it far more convenient and chose to continue working this way. After completing further training, I decided to close my private office and work exclusively remotely.

Clients appreciated the time saved on travel, parking etc and found the flexibility to fit sessions around their home schedules much easier - not to mention the comfort of being in their own surroundings - usually with a cup of tea!

Some clients find it easier to work over the phone, finding online Zoom calls too distracting. There really is no "right" way of working; it's about what you feel most comfortable with. If you're comfortable and at ease, we can focus on the reasons that brought you to therapy.
I am so grateful that I found Kellyanne for my recent counselling sessions. She helped put me at ease really quickly and I was impressed with how she understood my challenges and guided me to change my mindset to look at things differently. Kellyanne has given me some tools that will help in the future and I would highly recommend her services.
